# doctor

`inc` and `incodex` are interchangeable for this command and all its flags.

```bash
incodex doctor [--json]
```

Read-only checks cover Runtime, backups, journals, isolated sessions, and app identity. macOS also checks running-app Accessibility without requesting it. Windows reports its platform evidence through the default command. Diagnosis does not repair, delete sessions, or reset permissions.

## Flags

| Flag | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `--json` | Machine-readable report. |
| `--deep` | macOS only: nested signing, entitlements, and Gatekeeper. |
| `--app <path>` | macOS only: inspect a specific app. |

## Examples

```bash
incodex doctor
incodex doctor --json
incodex doctor --deep
```
